Hi everyone! Welcome to O’s Braiding Boutique- Let’s Talks page. I just want to let everyone know that I appreciate your love in support on my small business at O’s Braiding Boutique. I will continue to improve my brand with doing different braiding techniques from using a variety of styles to make you feel beautiful. My goals are to continue to create hair designs to fit your unique personality and create a design that is long lasting for all low maintenance braid styles.
Just wrap your braided hair!
It sounds easy right! Just wrap your braided hair and, you will be able to have your hair lasting long and looking good while needing little to no maintenance. This can save you a lot of money in the long run from needing your hair to be frequently done. At a minimum you will just need to keep your hair wrapped at night with a scarf, bonnet, or due rag. Just want to state that I love braiding hair because its my passion and I also enjoy the conversation and stories that I get when I am with my clients.

I absolutely LOVE MY BRAIDS!!! I felt beautiful after my braid session. I was surprised because my hair wasn’t tight on my head, I didn’t have any headaches, my scalp felt amazing. She did a treatment for my braids afterwards. I highly recommend her to everyone because she makes sure your hair not only looks great, but it’s well treated and taken care of. 💯

I highly recommend getting your hair braided by Octivea! Not only will your hair look amazing , you can’t be the experience! Octivea not only did amazing beautiful knotless braids for me she did a deep oil condition treatment. My scalp felt so good after. I am new to Williamsburg and had been looking for A place to get not only my hair but my two daughters hair braided for about A month and nothing seemed to fit. Until I found O’S braiding boutique. When I tell you this is the most professional hair experience I’ve ever had I mean that with everything! From Octivea responding very quickly to my initial email with A call my name call back and answering every questions that I had. She was not only professional but I could tell that doing hair and making people feel good is her passion.
When I say professional I mean professional in every way!!
She was ready to start on time!
She doesn’t stop every five minutes to eat or do other things!
She doesn’t get on the phone while doing hair!
She provides the hair and got exactly what we all wanted!

Ladies I am here to tell ya, I am a very skeptical about who put their hands in my hair i was at work and saw a advertisment on a car for braids, now at the time i was trying to get my hair braided nothing fancy just a few feed in braids so i took a picture of the advertiment but it was dark so when i got off work i couldn’t read the picture i took of it i was like ughhh… i guess i have to go on vacation whith my natural hair, then a quick thought was try and google it but Ms google couldnt get it right i just kept being persistant and lord behold it popped up in google! I screamed !!! thats it thats the name of the salon! I quickly went online and made a appointment i received a call the next day. I was able to get in to get my hair done i must say when she told me she was about a fourty five minute ride to her salon i was like ok you cant be picky right now. I must say i am so glad that google helped me to find her online it truly was the best experiance that i have ever had since i been gettting my hair done. I just coudnt stop thanking her for the lovely job she done and provideing such quality service and making me feel as if i was in my home getting my hair done. You have to schedule an appointment to see for yourself. You will thank yourself and her too. This lady is on point very professional and uplifting the whole time you are there. I am so thankful that i found her.

I love Mrs. Miller. My appointment with her was amazing. Not only is she super professional, but her home is beautiful, clean and comfy and she is a fast braided. Mrs. Miller is a joy and her services are fast and convenient. My braids look great! I was very impressed with her skills and the quality of the service. She definitely goes the extra mile to provide a luxurious experience for her clients. She provides the hair, uses high quality products, and treats your hair with an oil treatment and heat cap at the end of your appointment. I’ve never had a braider be that attentive to my braids! I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Hi everyone! I was very indecisive about about making the decision to start my journey with growing my hair back due to life challenges losing my mother at the same time getting a divorce I suffered with stress and 80% of my hair fell out. I’ve watch Octavia O’s braiding through the years styling own her hair and along with others and boy she did amazingly. I finally called her to set up the appointment and words cannot even expressed how she blessed me with an Amazing and professional sew-in, she was very fast and the environment was very pleasant, such a beautiful home, she was very professional the entire time and I was so comfortable. Now here I am two and half months later with so much new growth already! my sew- in Still look like I just had it done! My self esteem truly have been lifted because of the haircare and attention she presented and performed. I would never go anywhere else I am so satisfied with O’s braiding boutique! Who takes pride in all they do!!! Truly she has a gift and skill from above caring for women who’s been broken in their spirit from losing their hair. Surely she’s perfecting it as well. I got a wonderful hairstyle and a new friend. Quality work an A1 customer service. Octavia was professional, fast and good. I am very tender-headed and will stop someone if they are hurting my head, but not only did my head not hurt I slept easy that night. I highly recommend her and will be going there for years to come.
Where do I begin!!! First of all, to give you a little background I have ALWAYS gone to African shops to get my hair braided because of my military career. I have since retired and I was in need of my hair braided due to starting a new job as an Executive Assistant the next day! I didn’t want to have to deal with my own natural hair plus I am a runner, cyclist and weight lifter so low maintenance is key for me. I found Octivea on google and saw that she was in my town which was an added bonus. After one failed attempt to see her (my fault – no fault of hers) I finally sat in her chair. I was nervous..lol The minute I sat down I knew it was going to be a good time! She is so personable and I loved every minute of our conversations, the stories and the laughs! I felt right at home! I normally wear my AirPods to listen to music but not one time did I put them in my ear. She had soulful music on at the perfect volume and there were silent moments at times when she was working those hands..but it was calming and so relaxing. And let’s talk about my hair…beautiful mid-back knotless braids…PAINLESS free. I am overall impressed with her work, her spirit and her KINDNESS. I can’t wait to get back in her chair because I know I will be well taken care of and in good hands! Oh and her boutique is clean and beautiful!

Oh my goodness lol. Where do I even start. Mrs. Miller was pleasant & polite from the first initial phone call. She was down to earth. I asked about the service I wanted. The service was provided. I was given a price quote & that was that. I wasn’t ask about my hair. I wasn’t asked about the thickness & length. I wasn’t ask to come into the shop prior to my appointment or to take pictures of my hair. I wasn’t asked to make an outrageous deposit to secure my seat. My appointment was confirmed the day before. I was even told the demographics in case I got a little lost.
Mrs. Miller greeted me @ the door with a smile. The atmosphere was amazing. We talked, laughed, joked & listen to music. It was like I was with family or my best friend. I recieved many unexpected compliments. I was not uncomfortable or in pain during the install of my braids. Mrs. Miller took her time and made sure I was satisfied with each and every step. I was even shown the products used. I no longer have to look for a place to go. I recommend Mrs. Miller to everyone. I promise you will never look beyond her. Mrs. Miller is an Angel in disguse. God is always right on time and he placed Mrs. Miller in my life @ the perfect moment & time. I was even texted to make sure I made it safely home because I drove a distance. Mrs. Miller words can’t express how thankful I am to have found and met you.

First of all, let me say, Octavia always wears a smile and has a nice personality. Now, about my braids. I was very pleased with my braids. Octavia did a very good job on my hair. I let her know my concerns regarding my hair line and after she was finished, you couldn’t even tell I had an issue. She is fast and efficient and she introduce me to some products that would cover my gray and add moisture to my hair. Her little shop, in her home where she did my hair was neat and clean and she makes you feel comfortable. She gives you her total attention and great conversation. I’m going back to her, for sure.

I am and always been a hat lover but my son said mom get your hair braided I went to Google and typed in what I was looking for in my area and the site popped up first one and I stepped out of her shop and OMG so many compliments about my hair my son was impressed and said my Queen shake it shake it. First let me say that Octivea saved me! My appointment with someone else the day before was cancelled last minute and my mom recommended her to me and fit me in her schedule. She did my knotless braids and they look so good! She’s quick, she lets you know what she’s putting in your hair, she’s very professional, her salon is beautiful and intimate, and she has a beautiful spirit! This truly was the best experience I’ve had and I will be going back =)

Not only did I love my braids, I loved the whole atmosphere. Octivea was very professional and personable! She was very kind and welcoming; I felt at ease in her chair. When I arrived, everything was laid out and ready to go. She explained her process as she was braiding as well as the products that she used. She was fast; I’ve been other places where it took all day to have my hair braided. I arrived at 6 and Octivea was done before lunchtime! I love my braids, they came out so pretty! They’re very lightweight and so neatly done; and didn’t have a “braid headache” afterwards! I will definitely be making future appointments with Octivea!

I live in Williamsburg and always looking for someone to braid hair in the area. I came upon Octivea’s website and decided to book an appointment with her. From the moment I received her initial call, I could tell she was a personable person and felt at ease. Let me tell you, she did an excellent job with my braids!! Love her!! I left the salon with beautiful braids, soft braids, and no soreness or pain. She is the first beautician who has done a scalp treatment when I get braids. Not only does she do excellent work, you can tell by talking with her and sharing stories, she is passionate and truly loves her work!! She has a separate room in her house which is dedicated to her salon business and it was clean, warm and inviting. I highly recommend Octivea!!

Octavia is a braiding genius, very professional and personal. I love my hair. I’ve had braids before that was too tight and gave me a headache but OctavIa cares about her customers’ hair and she makes sure your edges are protected. In addition, I showed her a picture of the style I liked. Not only did she do the style but when she finished my hair looked better than the image. I have Alopecia and I’m from Baltimore. I’ve been lookin in my home town for a Stylist for a while with no success.
I wanted a change from wigs and wanted to try out getting my hair braided and was skeptical about the stylist that I’d run across . Didn’t want my 1st experience to be my a bad one. I visited my family NC /SC and Georgia while on vacation seeking my first experience with no success. I returned home for a break and ventured out again to see more family members in Williamsburg NC.
Upon arrival my daughter in law and granddaughter picked me up and I didn’t recognize them they looked vibrant I keep looking for my family members while they were looking at me . When my daughter in exited the vehicle to help me she stopped me in my tracks she looked amazing with her hair braided. On the way to her home all I talked about was how beautiful the 2 of their hairstyles looked . Them I asked if I could have her stylist number and received it Sunday afternoon. I called her the same day and told her my story upon my surprise on such short notice she booked a consultation the next day . Hello and praise God for you Octivea!! What a blessing you are to me. As a new person in town, I have been trying to find someone to help take care of my hair.
