My Story

Hi everyone! My name is  Octivea and I live in Williamsburg, Va. As a mother, daughter, and sister. I have been doing hair for over 25 years learning the best practices on many different hair textures and styles to create confidence back on those who may have lost thier self-esteem due to a bad hair day. 

I have dedicated myself to doing hair braiding in the most professional manner by ensuring that my clients have the best quality hairstyle that they can have. I take pride in the creativity, style and work that I do to ensure I am creating smiles and making the world a better place with confident, better looking people.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please do not bring your own hair to get your hair braided (unless you are getting a sew-in hairstyle). I ask for you to let me know prior to your appointment on the type of hair style and hair that you want in order for me to purchase the right hair for you. 

The hair products are not currently available. When they are available, please allow us five business days to ship the products.

There is no additional seating space for seating other clients or clients guest. We have limited seating for the client (with appointment only). 

No pets or service animals are allowed at the hair salon. Please leave your pets at home when coming to the hair salon. 

The hair salon is for braiding and we do not wash hair. We ask to have your hair washed and dried prior to coming to your appointment.

Please use the contact request reservation form from the website or call to contact me for available appointment dates and times. I will be able to let you know the best date and times for you to reserve your hair appointment during the shops business hours.

It depends on the length and what type of hairstyle you are requesting. All times will vary between 1 hour to 8 hours.

It can last anywhere between 2 weeks or 2 months depending how well you maintain it with hair wraps and keeping the hair properly moisturized and clean.
